Respected Friends –
          Expecting an opportunity of
sending a few lines by friends going to
Quarterly-Meeting I thought I would just
inform you that I have a letter from
a friend residing at Milford, Ohio,
which contains the following sentence
with regard to Priscilla –
“Priscilla Hunt lives at Blue River
200 miles from us, – she was confined
to her sick room the last I heard
from her” – “It is thought by some Friends
that she is partially deranged, and [no wonder]
it is not much to be wondered at if
she is for she is a tried woman”.
          The letter was dated 11..mo. 29.. 1840
