My Dear Friends:
                             I am back but my
wife is quite ill. As You will see by this
circular I am at work. The cause goes
grandly here in the west. "Excelcior" is
our motto. We have organized a Mich
State Spiritual Association. It was the
most vital, & enthusiastic convention I
ever attended in my life.
                                         We beat
the "Yearly Meeting" at Waterloo to death
on ratticalism [sic] enthusiasm, and all the
new and fresh Ideas of the times.
The whole West is awakening to the
largest Ideas, and Most Practical
Reforms.
God bless you both. I am

most
           Cordially
                             Yours Seldin J. Finney
